Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. What does "OEM" mean?

Original Equipment Manufacturer. These are the brand name cartridges made by the printer manufacturers.

Q. What is a remanufactured cartridge?

The empty cartridges that are cleaned, refilled and tested for reuse are called remanufactured cartridges. Any damaged and worn out parts are replaced with new ones during the remanufacturing process.

Q. What is "OEM Compatible"?

OEM Compatible cartridges are new cartridges that are made by a third party using the same standards as the OEM. These cartridges are also called "Generic" cartridges. As with most generic products, they cost considerably less than their brand-named counterparts. Note that remanufactured cartridges are also sometimes referred to as compatibles to indicate that they are compatible for OEM cartridges.

Q. How does the remanufactured or compatible cartridges compare with the OEM in quality?

They work and print just like OEM cartridges. Our outstanding warranty shows our confidence in the quality of our products.

Q. Does using remanufactured cartridges void my printer warranty?

NO. Cartridge remanufacturing process does not have any effect on your actual printer. So, your printer warranty should not be voided due to the usage of remanufactured cartridges.

Q. What if my printer gets damaged due to your cartridge?

Remanufactured and compatible cartridges cannot damage your printer. However, if you feel your printer has been damaged by one of our products, please bring a letter from a technician of an authorized printer repair center stating the nature of damage and that the printer damage occured due to the use of our remanufactured/compatible cartridge. We will verify the validity of the claim and get back with you within 2 weeks. We will pay repair charges up to $150 or replace your printer at our discretion.

Q. How should I handle my cartridge?

Never touch the electronic print head with any abrasive material. Use care when setting your cartridges down and do not place the print head in contact with any surface. Bring it back to recycling at your earliest convenience instead of leaving it to dry. Don't throw away the clip that comes with the cartridge. Reuse it for housing the empty cartridge. If you don't have the clip, you can wrap it with a paper towel and seal it in a plastic bag to protect from drying.

Q. What if you don't have the cartridge for my printer?

If, for any reason, we don't have your cartridge available, we will place a custom order and get it for you as quickly as possible. Contact our sales staff for more details.

Q. Will I get the same number of printed pages from your cartridges?

YES. Actually, a lot of times you will get many more printed pages from our cartridges than their OEM counterparts. Some cartridges have room for more ink or toner than what they are sold with initially. This extra capacity is made use of whenever possible.
